Make it Better! A Crash Course in Improvement
Dr. Carol Peden and Dr. Najmedin Meshkati present a course that introduces faculty, postdocs, and students to the basic concepts of practical improvement methodologies using examples from healthcare and engineering, with a goal of identifying and developing improvement methods for application in academic practice, or day to day life. By the end of the workshop, participants will be expected to have identified an area for improvement, an aim statement, a driver diagram, a high level process map and their measures for improvement.
