The USC Center for Health System Innovation and leading health-tech accelerator, Healthbox, welcome eight startup companies to the Health Sciences Campus at the University of Southern California.

Solutions to be presented:

  1. Metamason creates customized CPAP masks via 3D scanning and printing.
  2. Orphidia has developed a portable, point-of-care blood diagnostic that delivers 50 tests in 20 minutes from one drop of blood.
  3. Spinal Singularity has developed the first fully internal, extended use, valved urinary catheter for male catheter users. The product will last for 30 days and can replace as many as 200 disposable catheters.
  4. CarePlaces: The CarePlaces platform is a full-featured communication and care coordination platform for ambulatory and inpatient care as well as the patient home.
  5. Quire allows healthcare providers managing risk to easily ask complex questions to identify intervention candidates and opportunities to modify protocols and tasks to improve healthcare delivery.
  6. Workit Health digitally facilitates the recovery from addictive and compulsive behaviors.
  7. CrowdMed is the world’s first crowd sourced medical site and has resolved over 1,200 complex medical cases with an over 60% success rate.
  8. Navigine helps people to navigate inside buildings and help organizations track visitors, staff and assets in real time
